My heart surgery team treats all congenital heart disease in adults, but also many cases in children and adolescents.
The majority of the cases we operate are cases of dysplastic heart valves, tetralogy of Fallot, atrial and ventricular septal defects, coarctation of the aorta, open spinal cord as well as other rarer diseases.
These surgeries are performed endoscopically - minimally invasive, where possible.
Dr. Pitsis is the Head of Cardiac Surgery in Interbalkan Medical Center, Thessaloniki, Greece. He specialises in totally endoscopic, minimally invasive and endovascular techniques.
